R.I.P Jetta

So, the Jetta has just about bit the dust and we are going to have to get rid of it before it really takes its last breath. We took it to the shop and they said the poor baby is leaking transmission fluid and oil in many places and would cost about a G to get it fixed and a couple of the holes patched. Yes, a couple, so it would still leak. Doesn't seem likely I will do that so it's time. We have had a long joyous and memorable time together but our time has come to an end. I am upgrading you for a newer, more reliable model. Sorry sweetie. R.I.P Jetta XOXOXO

OK, it's official...

...there is part of my stomach I can no longer see...Oh Mason, I hope you give Mommy her body back when you are done with it!

22 Weeks

OK, so last week I had a cold pretty much the hole dang week! Went to Canton last Sunday and been sick ever since! Im still stopped up and cant hear out of one ear but other than that...it's all good. I have another appointment this Friday so Im just toughing it out for now. This weekend was quite relaxing... after the guys left for their hunting trip I took some Tylenol PM and was in a coma until like 2pm!!! Its was awesome! I havent slept past 9 in a loooong time. I did absolutely nothing all weekend. Again, awesome. Boy, let me tell you, Mason has sure been moving around alot lately. Aaron even got to feel him kick last week! I think I was more excited than he was! LOL. Sometimes, he stretches out and I can feel him on both sides of my stomach...craziness but I LOVE it! Here is a pic from last weeks baby bump :)

Finished painting the walls!

So yesterday while Aaron was out hunting I painted the lil ones' room!!! It turned out a little brighter than I expected but I think it will be OK since all of the stuff thats going in there is dark espresso or cream...and since I already painted it, I'm not painting it again...LOL. Yes, there is a dear head in there. I kinda told Aaron that if it was a boy that the head could stay in there....so there it is. I just have to put the baseboards down and we are ready to go!

Started on the Nursery!

We finally got all the crap out of the Nursery and got started! We got primer up on the walls and ceilings and pulled up the carpet for the hardwood floors! We are just about done with the flooring and it is coming along very nicely! All that's left is a few touchups, painting the walls blue and putting the baseboards back down. Then the room will be all ready for our little man's stuff! (Not that we have anything yet, but it sounds good...LOL) We have picked out a crib and bedding too! Oh, and i think we have decided on Mason Aaron Rubner... :)

Week 20!

WoW, its here...the halfway point! Its actually been a little easier than I thought it would be but the worst (And best!) are yet to come. Just the thought of pushing some watermelon sized things through my 'area' makes my stomach hurt. The stretching, the pulling, the RIPPING! OMG I'm going to puke! But I know it will all be worth it in the end!
I had another appt last week and I actually agined weight! A whole 4 lbs through the whole thing so far!! I've been losing or staying the same at every appt(Aaron said I was loosing weight in my brain cus im a bit spacey.)....I just didnt really beleive them when they would say 'You lost another pound' cus I obviously had a gut and my boobs are gargantuous! Size D baby! I cant imagine them getting any bigger, its going to be horrible towards the end. But I am enjoying them while I can! I had to wear a swimsuit in public the other day. Oh geez, I noticed a few people giving me the stink eye but they were just jealous! LOL It's strange, Ive never been excited to gain weight before. I even have a baby bump! :) I swear it grows by the day...

Our lil one! 18 weeks

We went to the Doctor the other day for our sonogram! Man, what an adventure in itself. We were so nervous and anxious all day it was like Christmas but you have to wait to open your presents! By the time we got there, we both had headaches from all the excitement. So I signed in, the lady tried to pull me up and said 'Amber, I don't have you down for an appointment today.' OMG are you freakin kiddin me?!?!? I was almost in tears already. I was like 'But I even confirmed my appt...' She finally realized after a few LONG minutes I was there for a sonogram and was just like 'Oh, my bad'. Uh, yeah, YOUR BAD! DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT YOU CRAZY LADY! So Aaron and I are sitting in the waiting room... I swear to you this was the LONGEST wait in the waiting room I have ever had. Seriously. The door finally swings open...'Amber?' YIPEE! Its finally our turn! We go in there, get all lubed up and get to it (no pun intended). We were only about 2 seconds into it and I saw it! The biggest smile is on my face at this point, mouth wide open, and she says it! 'Its a boy!' WOW, YEAH!!!! I look over at Aaron and he looks like he doesn't really believe her. No smile, just mouth wide open. The further and further into the sonogram Aaron's smile is just getting bigger and bigger! I am loving this. I have never seen him so happy in my life! It's the greatest feeling...almost overwhelming. We literally floated out of that place! Words cannot describe this feeling...it's amazing! Can't wait til our little man is here!
